But I can't help but comment midway. This is a great tribute and you said it best when you said that the music died. I couldn't put my finger on what I've been feeling. I love the beasties so much, its really so surreal. It also hurts that I'll never get to see them together in concert. I'm late to the game, I'm only 29. I'm such a diehard fan and MCA in particular changed my life with just seeing him grow up through the music. Its so refreshing to hear lyrics like in sure shot and then listen to anything in licensed to ill. I'm not a fan of it at all but its a great reference. This is seriouly breaking my heart to write. I hope that the kids today will appreciate MCA and not just think of him as some old guy. I’m still listening to the podcast. But I can’t help but comment midway. I've been a long time listener and lurker over on the BBS. So good to feel and share all the love with other fans. BBoys are by far the biggest musical influence. Listening to tod there I remember my wife and I were on the way to get pizza when my twitter lit up. Managed to get through night fine. when I got up early saturday morning and started reading all the tributes it was like someone was chopping onions in my office. And now a week later I'm in a much better place, untill I watch an HSCPT1 interview where they started talking about having hard drives to back themselves up in preparation to being the oldest band in the world. what a difference a couple of years make, eh? peace Great tribute.
